In addition to Jazzköket with its courtyard, the Lagerbaren cocktail bar, and Lilla Saluhallen, they’ve also opened Verket, a bistro. The familiar atmosphere has made Jazzköket Östersund’s lastingly most loved restaurant. Regardless of the occasion or the size of your wallet, you always feel welcome here – to sit by yourself at the relaxed kitchen counter and eat a simple meal from the bar menu, or let yourself be surprised by the four-course set menu of the day. Whichever you choose, you’ll be enchanted by the kitchen craftsmanship – tasty as well as pretty to look at, and always served with a thorough description. Don’t miss their starter version of a hot dog – a delightful jazz sausage made from posh pork and served with celeriac ketchup. Main courses such as the rose fish fillet with algae, swede and crown dill broth, or the Jämtland butcher’s roast with greens roasted in a wood-fired oven. Plus always creative vegetarian dishes. Craft beer from many small breweries and an impressive selection of vins nature complement the whole.
