Hotel With Urban Deli

This former office block near Hötorget, converted for its current role with flair, buzzes with life from breakfast time until the small hours. A wonderfully mixed crowd enjoys itself at Urban Deli, which occupies a large part of the ground floor as well as the roof. Urban Deli is a vibrant combination of a market hall with a café, a restaurant and a bar – and, weather permitting, the city’s most spectacular rooftop garden where you can eat and drink and take in the marvellous view. In the basement are rooms for lovers of innovation, modern Nordic design in colourful corridors with photo art on the walls, clever interiors and bathrooms, and the latest audio, image and wifi technology. Rooms are very flexible, allowing for family or sharing solutions at reasonable rates. Sleep is assured in excellent beds. The only snag is that none of the rooms have windows. On the plus side, it’s great to be able to sleep undisturbed in the middle of downtown, with a good air conditioning system when needed. At night, an LED ramp lights up as soon as your feet touch the floor. Naturally you can check in and out digitally (but the reception is open round the clock). Breakfast buffet in the restaurant, with delicious bread and wholesome modern options.
