Feel at home at Anna’s
Anna’s Hotel is housed in a yellow former farmhouse in Näsby, not far from the centre of Kristianstad. What was once farmland around it is now a modern residential area. Anna has ap-plied her experience from the hotel business to her own dream project. It shows in the details: power points are high up, the bathroom has a night light, and there’s a fan and an electric ket-tle. The spruce rooms are on the upper floor, with sloping ceilings. The hotel’s bed linen and crockery are available to buy for guests who take a fancy to them. For a fee you can have clothes washed and ironed, and shoes polished. Bikes are available to rent, and there’s a bus to the centre that stops just outside. Dinner and a packed lunch can be ordered ahead; if not there are several pizzerias nearby. In the downstairs lounge you can order a beer or a glass of wine. The breakfast room is all in white, and in summer you can eat out on the terrace – though this is overlooked by neighbouring houses. It feels very much like a home, and Anna is always on hand to provide tips for restaurants and events.
