Selma Spa

Over by the edge of the woods is a jogger, and a couple in white bathrobes are on their way down to the spa. At the other end of the reception, a group of conference guests are having coffee and cakes. Selma Spa feels sporty, relaxed and business-oriented all at the same time. And without one thing getting in the way of another. The complex looks huge as you approach it from the south, but once inside guests are spread out so that it never feels overcrowded. The breakfast room is vast, but subdivided with drapes in order not to become noisy. Outside the dining room is a wooden deck with a fabulous view of Fryken. Most of the rooms, decorated in light colours, also have a view of the lake. The spa offers various treatments as well as group exercise sessions. There are plenty of deckchairs around the indoor pool, and when a poolside group is enjoying drinks in the late afternoon it feels like a holiday destination farther south. From the pool you can swim out to the outdoor jacuzzis, and indoors are also various saunas and a gym with modern machines. The whole place is really set up for an enjoyable stay.
