Portal Bar

Portal is a restaurant first and foremost, which also shows in this recently opened bar annex next door. It’s comfortable and attractive, with a warm atmosphere among the dating couples, groups of friends and pre-dinner drinkers who share the space. It also serves what could well be the capital’s best snacking the chefs cooking it up right behind the bar – the langos with aubergine cream, in particular, are the perfect fat and salt accompaniment to beer. The drinks offering is a well curated offering of Nordic artisan beer and an odd twenty wines by the glass that are both well matched with the snacks quality wise. Regarding cocktails the offering consists mostly of conceptualised spirits-and-sodas.
