Two of Sweden’s most qualified sommeliers, a solid wine list, plenty of Coravin use and a well-designed hole in the wall in Södermalm. What could go wrong? Well, not a thing! Ever since it opened, Folii as been a benchmark of the Swedish wine bar scene. The wine list mixes classics with the latest trends; dishes are few but well conceived and above all extremely wine-friendly. The selection by the glass is among the best in the country, from 7.5 cl to a full bottle or a magnum. But the thing that makes Folii shine especially brightly is the precision shown in finding the right wine for every guest – which is something that only comes with solid experience and real knowledge. Next year Béatrice Becher, Jonas Sandberg and the team are going to open a bistro next door, with more food but the same focus on wine.
