More is definitely more
If a list existed of Sweden’s most flower-bedecked bars, Dorsia would undoubtedly head it. The extravagant decoration in cerise, red, gold and turquoise, with medallion wallpaper, fringes, silk and velvet, is complemented by enormous flower arrangements, and the heady scent of lilies serves as a kind of backdrop. The soft armchairs in the bar are very welcoming, and service is of course at the table here. The menu includes an array of creatively twisted gin&tonics, barrel-aged cocktails, modern drinks (the beetroot drink named Dita von Teese is surprisingly refreshing), classic and innovative champagne cocktails (but of course) – and should you prefer your bubbly untouched you can always order from the restaurant’s extensive wine list. Thanks to an indecently good selection of snacks and small dishes in the classic mould (think oysters, vendace roe, boquerones and Oscietra caviar), the biggest problem once you’ve settled down here is managing to leave.
