Barabicu

Barbiscu is the old-timer in the new late-night restaurant area around Rosenlundsgatan. And ever since it opened its bar has been a great place to kick-start your wet evenings out. It’s lively, loud and with centrally placed DJ. You can order marvellous small dishes such as padrones with Jerusalem artichoke cream, or lovely grilled Argentinian giant prawns. But above all they mix a mean cocktail here. Take Butter Me Up, which despite its seductive candy flavour is more refreshing than sweet. Or Miss Escobar – an acidic but balanced palate-pleaser whose subtle smoke flavour and freshly ground black pepper deliver a surprising contrast. There’s also a generous selection of wines by the glass.
