Mon Ami

Located on the lower ground floor of boutique hotel Frost, Mon Ami right in the heart of Pärnu. Stepping into the elegant dining room you’ll immediately notice that this is not a place for casual meals, in casual clothing. The sparkling wine list confirms this, studded as it is with Crémants and Champagnes rather than pedestrian Proseccos. Mon Ami is, and always has been, a French-Belgian bon vivant, even though the menu now features a separate list of vegan dishes. The latter are finally catching on in Estonia, but their quality often leaves something to be desired. Here, however, the selection of meat- and dairy-free options shines with thorough compositions and a wealth of pure flavors. The carpaccio of slow-roasted red and yellow beets in sage-honey soy sauce is so fresh it’ll transport you straight to the vegetable patch. The potato and cauliflower croquettes with cauliflower-Jerusalem artichoke cream, marinated cauliflower and Jerusalem artichoke chips is a great play on textures and will satisfy event the biggest of appetites. Mon Ami is chic,in a style that is true to its home city of Pärnu.
