If time is of the essence, opt for a Danish smørrebrød, or open-faced sandwich, if you can linger for a bit, dig into Chef Dmitri Zhuk and Owner Andrei Shmakov’s fine dining offerings, the duo has opened successful establishments both in Estonia and in Moscow. Zhuk’s sense of imagination appears limitless. Duck borsch gets a pleasantly tart edge from rhubarb, which in turn is balanced by the sweetish chicken liver pâté on thin slices of white bread, served alongside the soup. The beef tartare is accompanied by a creamy horseradish spread, capers and pickles, the whole garnished with fried potato floss
