Luring Guests from All Corners of the Country
People will drive hundreds of kilometres to eat at OKO. Yes, it’s that good. It was founded by one of Estonia’s all-time best chefs, Tõnis Siigur who quit his position at a five-star hotel to do his own thing, far from Tallinn, in the far-away Kaberneeme marina. Distance does not deter real food-hound, they quickly found their way there, which spawned the successful Siigur Restoranid restaurant group. Then OKO moved to Haabneeme; from the sleek marina to a popular beach where the regulars shaped the menu; pizzas, burgers and, inevitably, ice cream. But OKO wouldn’t be the OKO Siigur wanted it to be without putting his own twist on things. The pizzas are among the best in town, the truffle version is by now legendary and attracts guests from all over the country. The burgers are less talked about, but just as popular. As is the ice cream.
