As soon as you enter the grand lobby with a very high ceiling you’re met by warm smiles from the reception desk backed by a plant-covered wall. This friendly treatment by staff continues throughout the day and night. Most things you could ask of a pleasant stay are here. Rooms in soft hues with comfy beds, armchairs, a good work desk, effective light sources, magazines to browse, a bathrobe and slippers. A fabulously beautiful spa decorated with marble and golden tiles and subdued colour combinations. The dining room, with flower arrangements and soft carpets to absorb sounds, has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking leafy groves and a golf course. The chefs prepare tasty meals, and breakfast is well composed, with most anything you could wish for in ceramic bowls and old-style glass jars. International conference guests rub shoulders here with others who just want a relaxing day or two. Walking trails through the woods are easily accessible. By bus it takes fifteen minutes to get here from the central station.
